The beach and the dock area are each a short 200' walk from the front door of the condo. Surrounded by tropical plantings, two heated outdoor pools are 100 - 150 feet from the front door. Private dock/fishing areas and private beach offer chaise lounge chairs for residents and guests. Whitney Beach is an unspoiled, deeded beach and a shelling dream.

Recreational facilities at Whitney Beach include tennis, swimming, and shuffle board. Longboat Key is completely flat and offers a 10+ mile bike path for your riding pleasure.

Other amenities within a 5-15 minute drive include day spas and/or massage, kayaking, jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing, an exercise gym, Segway tours, paddle boards, snorkel and scuba diving, boat rentals, as well as golf (public & private courses).

Sarasota -- a short drive -- offers fine dining, the Ringling Museum of Art, as well as theater and live music. The Salvadore Dali Museum in St. Petersburg is also a must see.
